Jones and Corden created and wrote Gavin and Stacey together, playing Nessa and Smithy, with the first series airing in 2007.
Jones said her and Corden had a "lovely friendship" and hoped their writing relationship continued.
"I often say he's like my annoying, younger brother and I'm like your very bossy older sister, but it just seems to work," she explained.
"We have such a good laugh together and we just love being in a room and writing together and I hope that, that's going to continue because Gavin and Stacey is now finished.
"I can't really say anything at the moment, but yeah, I'm sure we will come up with something in the future."
